Sales Engineer – Technical & Commercial Solutions

About the role

Dywidag is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join its Cusago (Italy) office. You will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to support infrastructure projects and expand market presence for Dywidag’s innovative construction solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including document review, quantity take‑offs, material estimates, cost calculations and bid submissions.
• Drive sales growth and increase market share for Dywidag products and engineering solutions within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding requirements and delivering value‑added solutions.
• Promote Dywidag’s portfolio through meetings, technical presentations and project consultations.
• Provide technical support, recommend solutions based on specifications, drawings and construction needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Project Management to ensure accurate proposals and successful project delivery.
• Offer on‑site technical assistance and project support when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong business acumen.
• Ability to interpret engineering documents and construction procedures.
• Team player with excellent communication and networking skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and capable of independent work.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to create drawings when required.
