Sales Manager Aviation and Defense

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Manager / Business Developer to drive new business opportunities in the Defense and Aviation sectors for Bosch Engineering GmbH Italy. The role focuses on the Defense market while also scouting opportunities in Aviation, working closely with management and technical teams at a national level.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within the Defense sector.
• Identify key stakeholders and decision‑makers in strategic clients.
• Manage commercial prospecting activities and build a relationship network.
• Promote engineering services and component development solutions.
• Drive cross‑selling initiatives and support transversal competency development.
• Build strategic partnerships with major industry players and institutions.
• Collaborate with industrial and consulting partners to access new projects.
• Support the definition of commercial offers together with Project Leaders.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and manage client relationships.
• Scout and develop business opportunities within the Aviation sector.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electronic, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, Mechanical).
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial or business development roles within Defense, Aerospace/Aviation or Engineering Services.
• Experience managing complex clients and structured industrial environments.
• Familiarity with commercial dynamics in military or aerospace sectors.
• Strong commercial attitude, networking and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Italy (30–50%).
• Fluent in Italian (C1/C2) and English (C1); German is a plus.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary between €45,000 and €60,000 for a 40‑hour week.
