Secondary & IB Teaching Opportunities – Northern Italy

About the role

An established international school in Northern Italy is expanding its secondary faculty. The school seeks enthusiastic educators to teach Middle School English and IB Diploma Programme subjects (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics) to a multicultural student body aged 11‑18.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver inquiry‑based lessons aligned with the English‑medium curriculum and IB standards.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support preparation for IB examinations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to the school community.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and holistic development.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
• IB experience strongly preferred, especially for DP roles.
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, state certification) and relevant bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred for DP positions.
• Strong classroom management and student‑centred pedagogy.
• Commitment to international education and multicultural learning environments.

Required skills

• Literacy development and inquiry‑based instruction for English teaching.
• Deep conceptual understanding of IB Mathematics (Analysis & Approaches or Applications & Interpretation).
• Programming and computational thinking skills for Computer Science instruction.
• Solid knowledge of physics concepts and IB assessment requirements.
