Security Manager – Italy & Iberia (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a Security Manager to support Ericsson’s operations in Italy, Spain and Portugal on a temporary basis covering parental leave. Based in Rome, you will ensure that the company’s security posture meets global, local and customer requirements while contributing to broader team objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local security needs in line with global, local and customer requirements and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate security governance activities across the region.
• Lead the establishment and execution of crisis management processes.
• Handle security incidents, conduct investigations and work with other units as needed.
• Support external, internal and customer audits.
• Maintain physical security standards and perform risk assessments.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in a related field.
• Experience in a telecom, software or service company as a Security Manager or similar role; military or law‑enforcement background is a plus.
• Proven leadership experience and high integrity.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, risk management, audit & assessment, information, personnel and physical security, business continuity, crisis management, privacy, and security investigations.
• Familiarity with local regulations, including NIS2 and GDPR.
• Experience managing security in a large, preferably multinational organization.
