Senior Accountant & Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant & Controller to join our Finance team in Milan. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will ensure accurate monthly reporting for our European subsidiaries and support the entire accounts receivable process.

Key responsibilities

• Book accounting entries and prepare the monthly reporting package for European subsidiaries.
• Verify AR invoices for correct VAT codes, SDI, and required formats.
• Reconcile sales summary reports and AR ledgers.
• Support the team on AR issues, manage debt collection, and keep AR aging up‑to‑date.
• Prepare and file local tax declarations, including Intrastat, VAT register, and stamp duty.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Management.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Precise, proactive, organized and motivated.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Microsoft Office suite.
