Senior Accountant – Finance & Controlling

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join Anaergia’s finance team in San Gervasio Bresciano. The role supports the Finance and Accounting Manager, handling financial control, reporting, budgeting and transfer‑pricing documentation while ensuring robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, cash flow, KPIs) and analyse variances against budget/forecast.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process, update periodic forecasts and coordinate data collection across departments.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, verify consistency between accounting and management reports, and resolve accounting issues.
• Analyse new business transactions for tax risk and collaborate with the accounting team.
• Prepare transfer‑pricing documentation (Local File), gather data, reconcile intra‑group transactions and assist with related tax compliance.
• Maintain and update the internal control framework (ICFR), prepare documentation for controls and support internal/external audits.
• Utilise advanced Excel functions and ERP/reporting tools to improve data analysis and control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in controlling, auditing or accounting, preferably in project‑based environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP and reporting tools.
