Senior Associate, Business Strategy (Industrial Products, Consumer Goods, Business Services)

About the role

PwC's Strategy& team supports corporate clients and Private Equity investors across Industrial Products, Consumer Goods and Business Services, combining strategy, corporate finance and transformation capabilities. As a Senior Associate in Milan, you will work with clients on growth, portfolio, performance improvement and transformation, and with PE investors from commercial due diligence through to value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze market dynamics and industry trends, assess business performance and strategic opportunities, and contribute to growth and transformation strategies
• Help clients turn strategic ambitions into actionable initiatives and support their implementation
• Take ownership of work, lead project workstreams and coordinate and coach junior team members
• Contribute to proposals and business development, and build client relationships

Required profile

• 3-4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting or a similarly demanding environment
• Experience leading project workstreams and handling complex strategic, commercial and financial analyses under tight, deal-driven timelines
• Experience with corporate clients on growth, portfolio, transformation and cost optimization, and/or with PE investors on commercial due diligence and value creation
• Knowledge of, or project experience in, Industrial Products, Consumer Goods and Business Services
• Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative and proactive identification of opportunities
• Ability to analyze complex issues, challenge assumptions and synthesize quantitative and qualitative evidence into recommendations
• Full professional proficiency in English, written and spoken, is mandatory

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, including business plan development, market modelling and EBITDA bridge analyses
• Client-ready deliverables with clear storytelling
• Confidence interacting with corporate executives and PE professionals

• Indicative annual gross salary of EUR 45,000 to 55,000, with a performance-based bonus of up to 25%
