Senior Backend Software Engineer (Observability)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer specialized in observability to join a next‑generation cloud infrastructure platform built for the AI era. The role focuses on designing, building, and scaling the core telemetry ingestion, storage, and query services that power a unified observability ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale backend services for telemetry ingestion, storage systems, query engines, and alerting pipelines.
• Optimize distributed systems that process logs, metrics, and traces at high volume with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Support a unified observability ecosystem across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and production workloads.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in distributed environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve architecture, scalability, and developer experience.
• Explore innovative operational‑intelligence approaches, including AI‑assisted troubleshooting.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) or ability to adopt it quickly.
• Proven experience designing and operating highly scalable, reliable distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of system performance, fault tolerance, and production‑grade engineering practices.
• Experience debugging complex issues in large‑scale production environments.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
