Senior Business Analyst - Merchant Acquiring Solutions

About the role

Fiserv, a global leader in fintech and payments, is hiring a Senior Business Analyst for its Milan office. The role leads requirements discussions with clients and finalizes business needs from merchant acquiring banks or financial institutions, ensuring successful delivery of comprehensive solution documents and strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third parties. It acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft end-to-end merchant acquiring solutions for banks or financial institutions.
• Gather requirements, identify appropriate solutions and ensure successful implementation of merchant solutions.
• Identify, analyze, research and resolve functional queries from internal teams and third parties, and ensure prompt resolution of moderate to complex queries.
• Communicate effectively with various internal departments and act as a consultant, understanding system parameters and options.
• Identify systemic and business-impacting trends and escalate them through proper leadership channels.

Required profile

• Extensive SME functional knowledge of merchant acquiring solutions, including payment gateway, authorization switches, scheme clearing and settlements, merchant pricing, interchange and scheme fees, and financial reconciliations.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Prior experience working within the payments industry.
