Senior Career Advisor – Student Services

About the role

Rome Business School is seeking a Senior Career Advisor to join its Career Services team. Reporting to the Career Service Coordinator, the professional will be fully dedicated to delivering career support, placement activities and employability initiatives for a highly international student body.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one career coaching, CV reviews, interview preparation and personal branding advice.
• Design and deliver job‑readiness workshops, webinars and group sessions.
• Maintain regular follow‑up with students to ensure high‑quality service and track progress.
• Develop and nurture relationships with corporate partners to create internship and job opportunities.
• Collect, analyse and report on placement metrics and student outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in career advising, employability services or similar roles within higher education.
• Strong organisational skills, autonomy and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on results.

Required skills

• Career counseling techniques and methodologies.
• Knowledge of labour market trends and recruitment processes.
• Proficiency in using career services platforms and reporting tools.
