Senior Client Ambassador – Luxury Retail

About the role

Balenciaga is seeking a Senior Client Ambassador for its flagship store on Milan’s Via Montenapoleone. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will elevate the in‑store experience by delivering a refined, intuitive, and deeply personalized client journey.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and maximize store performance by meeting individual sales objectives and acting as a trusted advisor and styling expert for every client.
• Engage clients with curiosity, ask insightful questions, and translate listening into curated product selections, alternative silhouettes, and complementary pieces.
• Enrich client conversations with references to art, culture, design, gastronomy, or collecting to create memorable dialogues.
• Identify cues and opportunities, introducing relevant or exclusive items from the collection.
• Build and nurture a diverse client portfolio through consistent, thoughtful, and personalized engagement.
• Coach and model clienteling best practices for the team, raising collective standards.
• Contribute to the store’s clienteling strategy, supporting acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
• Act as a bridge between the House and its clients, translating the creative vision to both loyal and new audiences.
• Represent the Maison beyond the boutique during private appointments and external events when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury retail sales and client relationship management.
• Strong styling expertise and ability to act as a trusted advisor.
• Excellent conversational skills with a curiosity‑driven approach.
• Ability to identify client cues and respond with relevant product recommendations.
• Track record of building and maintaining a high‑value client portfolio.
• Leadership qualities to coach and inspire team members.
• Passion for art, culture, and design to enrich client interactions.
