Senior Composite Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Composite Design Engineer will join TGR Haas F1 Team in Maranello, supporting the design and development of high‑performance F1 car components. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Composite Design, the role contributes to the team’s technical objectives while working closely with race engineers and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on planning, strategy and race introduction of composite components.
• Design, develop and continuously improve F1 car parts with a focus on performance.
• Contribute to composite design workload plans and concept development.
• Liaise with the Race Team on reliability issues and design revisions.
• Carry out day‑to‑day tasks, ensuring quality, compliance and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of professional motorsport design experience.
• Proven ability to work calmly under high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments.
• Strong integrity and discretion handling confidential information.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work irregular hours, including weekends and race days.

Required skills

• CATIA 3DX for composite modelling.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience.
