Senior Consultant – Operational Excellence

About the role

Join a young, passionate team in Milan as a Senior Consultant focused on Operational Excellence. You will work on high‑impact projects across the Automotive, Fashion & Luxury, Retail, Pharma and other sectors, helping clients transform their supply chain, warehouse and customer experience functions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing logistics, warehouse and planning processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement levers.
• Structure, clean and analyse operational datasets (flows, inventories, lead times, capacities, service levels).
• Quantify expected results in cost reduction, inventory optimisation, service level improvement and productivity gains.
• Design and propose process redesigns and optimisation solutions, validating roadmaps with clients.
• Apply advanced analytics and data‑science techniques (statistical analysis, scenario simulation, forecasting models, optimisation logic) to support decision‑making.
• Develop dashboards and performance‑monitoring systems (KPIs, control towers, operational cockpits).
• Lead, coordinate and motivate consulting teams to ensure quality delivery and impact.
• Coach client teams on data‑driven ways of working and ensure top‑management satisfaction.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of consulting experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain or operational excellence.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach.
• Proven project‑management and team‑leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
