Senior Director of International Sales – EMEA & APAC

About the role

JoVE, the leading provider of science video solutions, is looking for a strategic and hands‑on Senior Director of International Sales to lead its EMEA and APAC sales organisations. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will partner with regional sales managers to drive revenue growth, ensure pipeline health, and embed a culture of execution and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional sales managers and their teams across EMEA and APAC, owning revenue performance and consistently meeting quarterly and annual targets.
• Conduct weekly pipeline inspections and deal reviews to maintain pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and adequate coverage.
• Monitor and analyse key sales KPIs – pipeline generation, meeting activity, conversion rates, forecast accuracy, and revenue attainment – and implement data‑driven actions.
• Ensure adoption of JoVE’s sales methodology, CRM best practices, and operational excellence across all regions.
• Coach and manage performance of sales leaders, providing continuous feedback and accountability.
• Identify new growth opportunities by analysing market trends, competitive dynamics, customer needs, and whitespace within existing accounts.
• Partner with Customer Success leadership to maximise renewals, drive expansion, and improve customer retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience leading sales teams in EdTech, SaaS or STEM publishing.
• 8+ years of experience managing sales leaders with a proven record of achieving revenue growth targets.
• Strong expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance management, using data to drive continuous improvement.
