Senior HR Manager – Italy

About the role

The Senior HR Manager will lead the implementation and local adaptation of Manitou Group’s HR policies within the Operations Directorate of Manitou Italia Srl and coordinate HR activities across two Italian subsidiaries. This position serves as the primary point of contact for union relations and ensures compliance with local labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage union negotiations, represent the company in collective bargaining and resolve disputes in court or out‑of‑court settings.
• Ensure timely compliance with all legislative, contractual and administrative obligations related to labour relations.
• Deploy, monitor and adapt Group HR policies for operations and subsidiaries.
• Lead recruitment and selection processes for all functional areas.
• Define competence requirements with Operations Managers and coordinate training plans with the Learning & Development Manager.
• Oversee disciplinary procedures, payroll, contributions, absences and injury reporting.
• Analyse personnel costs, identify anomalies and support initiatives to improve company climate.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in HR management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in union relations and Italian labour law.
• Strong analytical skills for personnel cost monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate HR activities across multiple subsidiaries.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
