Senior IT Project Manager – Healthcare (Milan & Libya)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a large‑scale, multi‑year healthcare IT transformation that spans Italy and Libya. The role requires regular onsite presence in Milan and frequent travel to Benghazi, coordinating cross‑border teams and ensuring seamless delivery of digital, infrastructure, and enterprise application initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of the healthcare IT transformation program, from planning to rollout.
• Coordinate activities between the Milan PMO and onsite execution teams in Benghazi.
• Lead complex digital, infrastructure, and enterprise application projects, including ERP, networks, and cybersecurity.
• Manage vendors, system integrators, and cross‑functional teams, defining governance, timelines, budgets, and delivery plans.
• Provide executive‑level reporting, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and change adoption support.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large, complex IT programs, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP (Finance, HR, Supply Chain).
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including datacenters, networks, and security.
• Excellent vendor and stakeholder management skills and willingness to travel regularly between Italy and Libya.
