Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in industrial solutions, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Gorle (BG), Italy site. The role focuses on the successful execution of ETO Rotary orders and drives continuous‑improvement initiatives across the engineering organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide the execution of multiple projects, including main item selection and technical alignment with vendors.
• Handle contractual documentation exchanged with customers.
• Coordinate supporting engineering functions such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering.
• Attend internal and external kick‑off meetings and manage customer communications.
• Participate in technical reviews and contribute to improvement projects.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of project engineering experience.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical conversations with customers and internal teams.
• Strong interest in continuous improvement and career growth toward project management or senior engineering roles.
