Senior Project Manager – Data Centre & Complex Infrastructure

About the role

An internationally recognised consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale, complex projects, with a focus on data centre design and construction. You will work within multidisciplinary, international teams, guiding projects from concept through to commissioning while ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout all project phases.
• Lead and manage multiple large‑scale capital projects, overseeing design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across design, commercial, procurement and operational functions.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks with proactive strategies.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and secure alignment from project inception.
• Take ownership of project planning, scheduling, quality management and cost reporting.
• Guide design teams to ensure delivery aligns with project briefs and timelines.
• Support the development of phasing and delivery strategies where required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project and construction management, preferably within data centres, industrial or complex infrastructure environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on site, managing budgets and meeting time‑and‑cost targets.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, procurement methodologies and statutory regulations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
