Senior Project Manager – Insurance & AI Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex application, integration and AI‑driven technology projects within a commercial insurance environment in Milan. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery across the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and control mid‑size to large‑scale IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end SDLC using Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery models.
• Oversee AI‑enabled solutions, data pipelines and automation technologies from design through deployment.
• Coordinate project and portfolio management activities, tracking scope, schedule, budget and risks.
• Engage and align multiple stakeholders across matrixed teams, translating technical concepts into business terms.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience managing complex technology projects and 10+ years overall professional experience.
• 3+ years supporting commercial insurance environments.
• Proven leadership, analytical and organizational abilities in fast‑paced, high‑pressure settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building capabilities.
