Senior Ready-to-Wear Designer

About the role

ANEST COLLECTIVE, a contemporary luxury brand operating between Shanghai and Milan, is seeking a Senior Ready-to-Wear (RTW) Designer. The role will shape the brand’s evolving silhouette language, translating conceptual direction into refined, architecturally‑inspired garments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design development for selected RTW categories, creating sketches, silhouettes, moodboards and design concepts.
• Ensure all proposals reflect ANEST’s principles of clarity, proportion, structure and quiet refinement.
• Research and source fabrics, leathers, knits and trims; build seasonal fabric boards and collaborate with Italian ateliers.
• Oversee prototype and fitting stages with pattern makers in Shanghai and Milan, providing precise feedback on fit, structure and finishing.
• Prepare technical documentation, including tech packs, construction details and specifications.
• Conduct cross‑functional collaboration with merchandising, production and marketing teams to align product mix, timelines and storytelling.

Required profile

• Strong creative maturity and refined aesthetic sensibility.
• Deep technical understanding of garment construction, proportion and material behavior.
• Ability to interpret and expand ANEST’s design principles into original, high‑quality RTW pieces.
• Senior‑level experience in luxury fashion design, preferably with exposure to both Eastern and Western production environments.
