Senior System & Cloud Engineer Azure

About the role

Kirey is seeking a Senior System & Cloud Engineer specialized in Microsoft Azure to join its Infrastructure & Cloud Division. The role focuses on managing, evolving, and migrating critical application services across both Azure and on‑premises environments, contributing to large‑scale cloud transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve Windows‑based on‑premises and Microsoft Azure infrastructures.
• Participate in Journey to Cloud initiatives and lift‑and‑shift migration projects.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Evaluate infrastructure technologies and products against project requirements.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code approaches.
• Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze and resolve complex infrastructure‑related issues.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security across managed environments.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, development, and operations teams to introduce new solutions and services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and operating enterprise‑grade Azure environments.
• Strong background in Windows Server administration and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud migration and lift‑and‑shift projects.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex technical challenges without focusing on first‑level ticket handling.
