About the role

Alanui is seeking a Senior Wholesale Manager to lead its wholesale business from Milan. You will shape the brand’s presence across key international markets, building and nurturing relationships with luxury retailers, department stores and strategic e‑commerce partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a wholesale sales strategy that aligns with the brand’s commercial objectives and luxury positioning.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing high‑end multi‑brand stores, department stores and online partners.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in target international markets while preserving brand integrity.
  • Lead seasonal sales campaigns, showroom appointments and presentations to buyers.
  • Oversee sales budgets, forecasts, sell‑in targets and performance analysis by market, client and product category.
  • Monitor sell‑out trends, market dynamics and competitor activity, providing actionable insights to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, product, marketing, customer service and logistics to ensure seamless order‑to‑delivery processes.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, budgets and assortment plans, maintaining long‑term strategic partnerships.

Required profile

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in luxury fashion wholesale, sales or commercial management.
  • Proven track record working with luxury retailers, department stores, high‑end multi‑brand stores or premium e‑commerce platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the international luxury fashion market and an established network of buyers.
  • Experience with ready‑to‑wear, knitwear or lifestyle luxury brands.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into commercial actions.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple markets and deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for building trusted relationships.
