Shift Supervisor – Nuclear Fabrication

About the role

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations in the nuclear fabrication department at its Monfalcone site. The role reports to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and ensures safe, efficient production across three rotating shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members based on schedules and qualifications.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and materials; report and investigate safety issues.
• Communicate company updates and safety messages during weekly meetings.
• Conduct quality and standard‑work peer checks to ensure compliance.
• Implement training plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with planning and production teams to track progress and address schedule deviations.
• Monitor staffing needs, apply corrective actions, and support process continuity.
• Maintain workplace organization, production records, teamwork, and up‑to‑date employee training.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• At least five years of experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and shop math.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Availability to work three shifts (6 am‑2 pm, 2 pm‑10 pm, 10 pm‑6 am, Monday‑Friday).
• Proficiency in Italian and English at B2 level or higher.
