Shipping Coordinator

About the role

The Shipping Coordinator joins Fujimi’s Logistics & Distribution team in Tualatin, Oregon. This full‑time, non‑exempt position is responsible for managing daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination with carriers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organize bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, export licenses, and other required shipping documents.
• Schedule inbound and outbound traffic, obtain carrier rates, and confirm carrier availability.
• Track all shipping transactions using internal systems and maintain a shared Outlook calendar for appointments.
• Communicate shipping delays or changes to customers and internal teams.
• Receive, store, pack, and ship merchandise while adhering to DOT/HAZMAT regulations.
• Verify incoming material quality, ensure SDS availability in the CIMS database, and coordinate with Purchasing and Quality Control.
• Assist with month‑end inventory reconciliation and manage supply levels.

Required profile

• Non‑exempt, full‑time availability Monday‑Friday.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot shipping issues.
• Capability to work independently and coordinate with multiple internal departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for calendar and communication management.
