Shopper Marketing Manager – Pasta & Condiments

About the role

Barilla is seeking a Shopper Marketing Manager for its Pasta & Condiments portfolio, based in Parma. The role will drive shopper‑centric growth across categories, shaping omnichannel strategies that translate insights into sales‑boosting actions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑channel purchasing behaviour studies (Decision Tree, Market Partition, shopper data) and turn insights into actionable retailer strategies.
• Champion shopper centricity in national omnichannel campaigns and coordinate digital retail media plans with the Digital Commerce team.
• Design category strategy and brand growth plans, fostering ROI‑based discussions and integrating digital and in‑store touchpoints.
• Collaborate with the Global Shopper Marketing team in Amsterdam to develop shopper‑ready content and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Trade Marketing, preferably covering both trade & sales and marketing functions.
• Proven inclusive leadership style with strong influence, high energy and the ability to drive organisational change.
• Analytical mindset with experience designing and conducting shopper data analyses to produce actionable plans.
• Fluency in English and Italian.

Required skills

• Strong analytical capabilities for shopper data analysis.
• Experience with omnichannel planning and retail media integration.

• Gross annual base salary of at least €50,000, with a variable component.
