Site Manager

About the role

The Site Manager will lead on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while complying with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality standards on the construction site.
• Participate in work schedule preparation, verify feasibility, and optimise where possible.
• Monitor progress against the schedule, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Plan, coordinate and motivate the work team, assigning tasks in line with suitability and regulatory requirements.
• Collect and submit progress reports, flag critical issues and propose corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, clients, authorities and the Works Management team, including disposal and logistical aspects.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural Engineering or Geological Sciences (or a technical high‑school diploma such as Surveyor with 10+ years experience).
• Strong knowledge of ground improvement and foundation works.
• Familiarity with workplace health & safety and environmental regulations.
• Experience in planning, monitoring and project management principles.
• Geotechnical expertise and ability to work under local legislation.

• Gross annual salary between 51 000 € and 80 000 €, based on experience and responsibilities.
