Site Manager – Wind Farm Construction

About the role

The Site Manager will lead the execution of wind turbine construction projects in Italy, acting as the primary liaison between Goldwind, the client, subcontractors and local authorities. You will ensure safe, on‑time delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, representing Goldwind with professionalism and integrity.
• Provide daily progress reports to the project manager and client, compiling statistics on manpower, equipment and project status.
• Supervise a team of employees and subcontractors, ensuring safe work practices in a complex environment.
• Deliver technical guidance for mechanical and electrical installation of wind turbine generators (WTG) on‑site and at ports.
• Maintain accurate records for attendance, inductions, toolbox talks, accidents, deliveries, safety inspections and equipment registers.
• Implement and control site‑specific HSE policies, conduct safety audits and manage incident reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in wind turbine construction or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of wind turbine installation technology and HSE/quality control systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
