Small Leather Goods Designer – Luxury Fashion

About the role

Gucci is seeking a Small Leather Goods Designer to shape the creative direction of its men’s and women’s accessories collection, including mini bags, wallets, key holders, belts, hats, and gloves. Working under the guidance of Design Managers, you will translate the brand’s iconic identity into innovative, functional, and technically feasible designs that align with seasonal concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design of new Small Leather Goods proposals in line with brand identity and seasonal themes.
• Create sketches, renderings, and creative concepts, and develop mood boards and collection presentations.
• Produce accurate technical drawings for seamless communication with Product Development teams.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising, and Industrial teams to ensure feasibility and consistency.
• Participate in fittings, prototype reviews, and product refinement.
• Monitor fashion trends, market evolution, and competitor activity to identify creative opportunities.
• Research inspirations from archives, vintage references, materials, and external sources.

Required profile

• Hands‑on approach with the ability to create 3D mock‑ups.
• Strong aesthetic sensitivity and attention to detail.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.
