Software & AI Engineer – Graduate Development Program

About the role

Join ION’s three‑year Graduate Development Program as a Software & Artificial Intelligence Engineer. You will work on real‑time FinTech projects, spending most of your time on core software development and a portion on AI initiatives, while being mentored by senior professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of innovative software solutions that impact financial markets.
• Allocate roughly 80% of effort to full‑stack engineering tasks and 20% to AI‑focused projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ship high‑impact products.
• Solve complex technical problems and translate them into scalable, efficient solutions.
• Iterate on your work based on feedback, performance data, and evolving requirements.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a STEM discipline obtained within the last year or currently in progress, with a strong academic record.
• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level) and able to work in Italy or relocate there.
• Legal right to work in Italy (EU work permit for non‑EU candidates).
