Software Engineer – Fintech Payments

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join TrueLayer’s fast‑growing fintech team. You will work on the core Pay by Bank platform, helping to build and run services that enable millions of API requests for online payments and financial data integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, deliver and operate new product features and infrastructure components.
• Maintain high reliability and performance, supporting a 99.95% availability SLA for millions of API calls.
• Iterate quickly on improvements while ensuring long‑term maintainability of the system.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex customer problems.
• Scale the platform to support new products, geographies and increased transaction volume.
