Solar Engineer

About the role

Ecogreen Energy is seeking an experienced Solar Engineer to join its plant development and construction project management team in Bari. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful construction, start‑up, and performance monitoring of new solar plants.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in the construction and start‑up of solar plants.
• Assist in the procurement of instruments, components, and accessories required for plant construction and operation.
• Interface with suppliers, developers, and third‑party agencies.
• Contribute to company safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with the engineering office to prepare executive project documentation.
• Help define and implement plant performance KPIs.
• Draft periodic project and performance reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Materials Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proficiency with CAD or other design tools.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and related packages.
• Willingness to travel short distances within Italy.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Team‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage stress.

What we offer

• Full‑time, onsite position in Bari.
• Fixed‑term CCNL – Metalworker contract, convertible to a permanent role.
• Annual gross salary between €35,000 and €40,000, based on experience.
