Spray Dryer Operator

About the role

As a Spray Dryer Operator at Givaudan, you will work on the continuous anhydrous drying line in our Caronno Pertusella plant. Under the guidance of the Shift Leader, you will follow established procedures to produce high‑quality flavour and fragrance ingredients.

Key responsibilities

• Operate spray dryers, conical dryers, sieves, pasteurizers, tanks and packaging equipment.
• Carry out basic production steps such as blending, mixing, heating, filtering and packaging according to process instructions.
• Prepare and load raw materials and intermediates, ensuring correct identification and safe handling.
• Follow the bill of materials to add materials in the proper sequence and quantities.
• Monitor control panels, record process data and maintain accurate production documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor deviations and support in‑process quality checks.
• Prepare finished or semi‑finished product packaging for downstream steps or shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment and comply with GMP, HACCP, OSHA and related standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or industrial chemistry background preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in food, flavour, chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Familiarity with automatic or semi‑automatic plants and HMI‑based control systems.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment and follow strict quality procedures.
