Stewarding Supervisor – Luxury Hotel (Venice)

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor supports the Food & Beverage operation at Four Seasons Hotel Venice, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across all kitchen and back‑of‑house areas. Reporting to the F&B manager, the role leads the stewarding team to deliver seamless service for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily stewarding activities in kitchens, storage, dishwashing stations and other back‑of‑house areas.
• Coordinate shift assignments, prepare work areas before service and ensure operational readiness.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP, health‑and‑safety regulations and Four Seasons standards.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of equipment, machinery and stewarding supplies.
• Support inventory control, stock monitoring and ordering for the stewarding department.
• Identify and resolve hygiene or operational issues proactively.
• Assist in training, performance development and motivation of the stewarding team.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in stewarding or back‑of‑house roles, preferably in luxury hotels.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards.
