Store Manager – New adidas Originals Store Opening in Rome

About the role

adidas is launching a brand‑new adidas Originals store on Via del Babuino in Rome and is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead the opening. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring profitability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a premium retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales and profit targets for the new store.
• Manage all store resources, including staff scheduling, stock flow, and visual merchandising.
• Ensure full compliance with adidas policies, legal standards, and financial procedures.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, maintaining a strong customer‑service focus.
• Recruit, train, develop, and motivate a high‑performance team.
• Oversee cash desk operations, stock deliveries, and store safety.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, reflecting adidas values and culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months experience in sports or fashion retail, including at least 12 months in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive profitability.
• Strong understanding of retail compliance, loss prevention, and visual merchandising standards.
• Excellent leadership and team‑development skills.
