Strategy & PMO Manager – EMEA/AP Region

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Strategy & PMO Manager to lead the strategic project portfolio for the EMEA‑AP region of a global industrial solutions leader. Based at the Group Headquarters in Milan, you will run the regional Project Management Office, support the Head of Region in shaping strategy, and act as chief of staff for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and operate the regional PMO for key transformation projects, defining charters, governance, milestones and KPIs.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans, track critical‑path activities, manage risks, dependencies and escalations.
• Prepare and deliver regular project reporting to the Head of Region, Group CEO and shareholders.
• Coordinate external consultants, engineering partners and EPC interfaces as required.
• Support the Head of Region in developing the regional strategy and annual operating plan, including business reviews and strategy workshops.
• Conduct market, customer, competitive and operational analyses to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare presentations, briefing notes and decision documents for the Management Team and Advisory Committee, and follow up on action items.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field from a top‑tier university.
• 2–3 years of experience at a top‑tier management consulting firm serving industrial/manufacturing clients.
• Proven experience with complex transformation programmes, PMO set‑ups and senior stakeholder management.
• Business‑fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with M365 Copilot or equivalent AI‑enhanced productivity tools.
• Familiarity with SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
