Supply Chain Lead & Procurement Coordinator

About the role

Wood is looking for a Supply Chain Lead / Procurement Coordinator to support the Project Supply Chain Manager on complex chemical, petrochemical and energy plant projects. Based in Corsico (Milan) with hybrid working, you will manage the full purchasing cycle and ensure timely delivery of project materials.

Key responsibilities

• Define the Project Procurement Plan and related procedures.
• Execute all supply‑chain activities, including expediting, procurement and negotiation.
• Conduct market scouting, supplier onboarding and maintain bidder lists for each inquiry.
• Prepare tender documentation, pricing summaries and lead technical/commercial clarification meetings.
• Review, negotiate and finalize terms & conditions, commercial bid tabulations and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with key internal and client stakeholders to meet expectations.
• Ensure activities align with the project execution schedule and processes.
• Track and report KPIs to drive cost reduction and efficiency.
• Prepare procurement reports tailored to project and client requirements.
• Comply with Wood’s code of conduct, ethics and corporate policies.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement or supply‑chain functions within chemical, petrochemical or energy projects.
• Familiarity with market scouting, supplier onboarding and tender preparation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external bidders.
• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
