Supply Chain & Logistics Engineer

About the role

The Central Logistics Department is looking for a proactive Supply Chain & Logistics Engineer to support continuous improvement of logistics processes across Bosch's manufacturing network. You will help develop and implement physical logistics processes, optimise material flows and align them with the overall supply‑chain strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and standardise material flow processes across the Division's manufacturing plants.
• Lead packaging optimisation initiatives, including master data management and returnable packaging systems.
• Support transportation management by collaborating with sites on carrier performance and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Monitor logistics quality, inventory performance and key KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to logistics controlling activities, cost‑saving projects and supply‑chain network optimisation.
• Drive continuous‑improvement and digital‑transformation initiatives, supporting logistics tools adoption.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in logistics and supply‑chain operations, preferably in an international manufacturing environment.
• Good command of English; additional languages such as German, Italian or Portuguese are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and international stakeholders.

Required skills

• SAP or similar ERP/MRP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Power BI (advantage).
