Sustainability & Strategy Analyst

About the role

Join Ambienta’s cross‑functional Sustainability & Strategy team and help shape investment decisions across private equity, public markets and private credit. You will work closely with senior analysts and investment professionals to translate environmental trends into actionable insights for the firm’s portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Research and monitor environmental megatrends and their impact on industry value chains.
• Develop and maintain sector‑specific knowledge bases, highlighting successful business models and competitive advantages.
• Support senior team members in generating investment ideas, conducting due‑diligence and preparing investment memos.
• Prepare Environmental Impact Analyses for target and portfolio companies using Ambienta’s impact methodologies.
• Collect and analyse data from companies, apply existing and new analytical models, and produce concise reports for investment committees.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with strong interest in sustainability, ESG and finance.
• Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative investment environment.

Required skills

• Strong research and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Familiarity with environmental trends, resource efficiency and pollution control concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
