System Administrator – Linux OS Expert

About the role

TXT e-Tech is seeking a Linux OS expert to join a new defense‑sector project. You will become part of a structured team responsible for the reliability, security and performance of both physical and virtual Linux‑based servers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, configure and maintain Linux systems, including installation, updates and patching.
• Administer user accounts, permissions and services.
• Monitor system processes, performance and security metrics.
• Apply security hardening and encryption measures in line with Common Criteria.
• Automate routine tasks using Bash scripting.
• Support change‑management activities and maintain version control with tools such as Git, CVS, IBM RTC or DOORS.

Required profile

• Problem‑solving attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• Experience working in regulated environments, preferably defense or similar high‑security sectors.
