Tax Manager – Global Tax Strategy & Automation

About the role

Snyk is seeking a Tax Manager to lead its global tax strategy and drive automation across roughly a dozen jurisdictions. Reporting directly to the VP of Tax, you will have a front‑row seat on international tax planning, compliance, and transfer‑pricing initiatives while shaping modern, technology‑enabled tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day tax department operations, including account reconciliations, cash tax forecasting, and quarterly tax provision preparation.
• Oversee international tax and transfer‑pricing compliance for 12 countries, with a focus on the United Kingdom and United States.
• Co‑manage the preparation, review, and timely filing of corporate income tax returns across all jurisdictions.
• Identify, design, and implement automated workflows for data collection, tax provisioning, and compliance reporting to eliminate manual spreadsheet tasks.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of tax data systems and ensure accurate tax data ownership.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in corporate tax, international tax compliance, or transfer pricing.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for digitising tax processes.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Experience with tax automation tools or workflow‑automation platforms.
• Knowledge of UK and US corporate tax regulations.
• Familiarity with transfer‑pricing documentation and inter‑company transaction monitoring.
