Tax Specialist

About the role

The Tax Specialist will support the Tax Director in implementing Iveco Group’s tax strategy across multiple jurisdictions. The role focuses on direct and indirect tax matters, tax accounting, and financial reporting within a global multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Group’s tax strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with domestic and international tax regulations.
• Conduct tax analyses and planning for business initiatives and extraordinary transactions, assessing risks and opportunities.
• Monitor changes in national and international tax legislation, accounting standards, and reporting requirements, and advise on their impact.
• Assist with tax aspects of establishing, restructuring, and operating Group entities across jurisdictions.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax reporting packages, including effective tax rate analysis, provisions, uncertain tax positions, and disclosures.
• Analyze drivers of the Group’s Effective Tax Rate (ETR) and identify planning opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tax accounting, reporting, and governance frameworks.
