Technical Program Manager – Manufacturing (NYC Metro)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Technical Program Manager to lead and coordinate manufacturing programs in the New York City Metro area. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing clear communication and timely updates.
• Coordinate program activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and supply‑chain teams.
• Monitor project timelines, costs, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Support product and process improvements to boost efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical or scheduling issues.
• Assist with risk identification, reporting, forecasting, and change‑management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of program or project management experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or similar industries.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and external stakeholders.
• Good understanding of project execution, risk management, and operational processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project‑management tools is a plus.
• PMP certification is considered an advantage.
