Technical Support & Airworthiness Data Specialist (VIE)

About the role

Join Airbus Helicopters Italia as a Technical Support & Airworthiness Data Specialist on a 12‑month VIE contract. You will work in the Technical Office Department, ensuring the airworthiness and safety of the helicopter fleet while bridging regulatory requirements with maintenance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed Work Packages from customer Work Orders for aircraft, engines, and components.
• Prepare and update activity templates (batteries, CVFDR, avionic checks) and manage the tasks database in line with Type Certificate Holders and Aviation Authority instructions.
• Assist the Technical Office Supervisor during internal and external audits, perform root‑cause analyses, and provide technical support to international customers and the parent company.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Department to guarantee timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality maintenance delivery.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in Engineering, preferably Aeronautical.
• Advanced written and spoken English; intermediate Italian is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork orientation, and a proactive learning attitude.
• Awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to integrity.

Required skills

• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for Excel is highly preferred.
