Technical Trainer & Software Support Specialist – CAD/CAE

About the role

ETAP is looking for a Technical Trainer & Software Support Specialist to join its Bergamo office. You will combine deep technical knowledge of electrical CAD/CAE tools with a passion for teaching, helping customers adopt IGE‑XAO and ETAP software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical training sessions on IGE‑XAO/ETAP electrical CAD‑CAE software to customers and partners.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance via email, phone, and remote assistance.
• Prepare and maintain training materials, documentation, and learning resources.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and feed product‑improvement insights.
• Assist pre‑sales activities by demonstrating software capabilities when required.

Required profile

• Technical background in electrical engineering, automation, industrial design, or a related field.
• Experience using CAD/CAE tools for electrical design.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset to diagnose technical problems and propose solutions.
• Willingness to work onsite full‑time in Bergamo.

Required skills

• Electrical CAD/CAE software (IGE‑XAO, ETAP).
