Telco End-to-End Finance Specialist

About the role

The Telco End-to-End Finance Specialist will manage accounting activities for interconnection services, ensuring accurate billing, collections, payments and financial reporting across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting for interconnection services, including billing, collections, payments, reconciliations and financial clearing.
• Validate traffic and billing data, resolve disputes and ensure accurate invoice creation.
• Execute month‑end close activities such as accruals, reclassifications, bad‑debt analysis and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding balances, lead collection efforts and reduce aged receivables.
• Prepare financial reports, analyses and presentations for internal stakeholders, auditors and business partners.
• Support compliance activities, including SOX controls, audit requests and financial governance.
• Maintain real‑estate lease contracts and collaborate with international teams to resolve operational and financial queries.
• Participate in system enhancements, testing and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in finance, accounting or shared‑services environments, preferably within telecommunications.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general‑ledger processes and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of databases, reporting tools or Power BI is advantageous.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving and effective stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written Italian and intermediate English.
• Ability to work in a hybrid or remote environment and manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
