Tour Leader – Italy

About the role

Intrepid Travel is looking for enthusiastic Tour Leaders to guide groups across Italy. You will immerse travellers in local culture, create memorable experiences, and ensure safety throughout each journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences, from market walks to home‑cooked meals with local families.
• Prioritise group safety and wellbeing, handling issues such as lost passports, medical needs, and group dynamics.
• Lead and manage trips according to itineraries and budgets, completing all required administration on time.
• Uphold Intrepid’s values by fostering genuine connections, creating ambitious experiences, collaborating with local partners, and making each journey impactful.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Italian with excellent communication skills.
• Holder of the Italian Patentino di Accompagnatore Turistico (professional tour‑leader qualification).
• Proven customer‑service background and experience leading tours in Italy and Europe.
• Full right to work in Italy and the EU.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency, including email, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
