Training Manager – European Training Team

About the role

Ecolab is seeking a Training Manager to lead the European Training Team within Global Water Solutions. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve sales and technical training programs that support our customers and internal teams across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver core sales training curricula (CSP, VSP, SSPS) and support Global Water onboarding classes.
• Plan demand, create annual training schedules, and manage program logistics.
• Act as Learning Business Partner for assigned divisions, providing training updates and identifying business‑specific learning needs.
• Develop new training programs and refine existing ones based on participant feedback.
• Schedule and deliver ad‑hoc training sessions as required.
• Collaborate with the Global Water L&D Centre of Excellence to create globally‑compatible programs.
• Assist with local language translations and validation of global training content.

Required profile

• 10+ years of field sales experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Training certifications or willingness to obtain certification.
• 5+ years of experience in training or facilitation, internal or customer‑facing.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Beginner’s mindset and eagerness to apply digital tools in learning environments.

Required skills

• Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360.
• Experience with Easy Generator.
