Transactional Risk Broker (M&A Lawyer)

About the role

Marsh is seeking a Transactional Risk Broker to join its Private Equity and M&A practice in Milan, advising on insurance solutions throughout M&A transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and place Transactional Risk Insurance solutions such as Warranty & Indemnity, contingent Liability Insurances, Litigation Buy Out, and Environmental M&A solutions.
• Manage the full underwriting process for Italian deals, from confidentiality agreements to policy issuance.
• Negotiate directly with the Transactional Risk Insurance market and interact with private equity firms, corporations, law firms, and investment banks.
• Build relationships with colleagues in Italy and abroad to serve as a strategic deal advisor and support business growth.

Required profile

• Master’s Degree in Law with proven experience in corporate transactions, especially private M&A.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organizational, project‑management, and client‑orientation skills, with high motivation and resilience.
• Demonstrated teamwork, responsibility, and flexibility; corporate tax or international experience is a plus.
