Transport & Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Transport & Logistics Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Bologna. Reporting to the Transport & Logistics Manager, you will oversee daily logistics flows, stock control and coordination with production sites and external operators, helping to improve transport, warehouse and supply efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate stock and manage inventory to meet customer requirements, monitor levels and update databases to avoid shortages or excess.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with third‑party logistics providers, ensuring timelines and proper handling.
• Maintain relationships with logistics platforms, warehouses, carriers, suppliers and internal functions for delivery planning and issue resolution.
• Identify and support process‑improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and reducing supply‑chain costs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; logistics or supply‑chain education is a plus.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, transport or logistics environment.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and priority‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems such as WMS and ERP.

What we offer

• Hybrid working model (3 days onsite, up to 2 days remote).
• 40‑hour week with occasional Saturday rotation.
• Fixed‑term contract with a gross salary of €30,000‑€36,000 per year.
