Women's Ready-to-Wear Designer – Luxury Fashion

About the role

Bottega Veneta is seeking a Women’s Ready-to-Wear Designer to join its design team. You will contribute to research, concept development, fittings, and fashion show preparation while deepening your understanding of the brand’s creative vision and craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the Head of Tailoring, Outerwear & Denim to build strong concepts and develop seasonal collections focused on leather and denim.
• Conduct iconographic research and develop 3D volumes, details, and flat sketches.
• Lead fittings and look development, ensuring alignment with the brand aesthetic.
• Coordinate and prepare fashion shows and other key presentations.
• Prepare technical drawings, moodboards, and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product Development, Atelier, and Fabric.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in women’s ready‑to‑wear design with proven expertise in leather and denim.
• Immediate availability.
• Strong visual sensibility, craft awareness, and ability to translate concepts into designs.
• Experience working directly with suppliers and factories.
• Commercial perspective on collections and understanding of construction, materials, and finishing techniques.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.
